Cameron named the Button Back Putter for the three screws resembling buttons that hold the Teryllium insert in place, the Button Back Newport brought back the buttery soft feel and unmistakable character of Scotty Cameron Teryllium-inlay putters. Improving the milled raw carbon steel of original Teryllium series putter heads, Scotty Cameron precision milled the Button Back Putter using Tour inspired 303 stainless steel.
The Cameron Button Back Newport has copper-colored paintfill accents, a stepless steel shaft, and a rich luxurious leather grip that is hand stitched with matching copper-colored thread. The Button Back Newport was designed without a sight line or sight dot and sports a solitary Scotty Cameron engraving up the neck.
Scotty Cameron limited the production of the Button Back Newport to no more than 4,000 putters of this design for the entire world.
